Antonín Střížek (1959) je malíř, který vystudoval AVU v osmdesátých letech a zúčastňoval se výstav Konfrontací. Ve své kultivované malbě, která zahrnuje více než padesát samostatných výstav, pracuje s příběhem a nezaměnitelnými polohami zátiší a městských scenérií. Působil také jako pedagog a vedoucí malířského ateliéru na AVU v Praze.

Antonín Střížek (born 1959) is a painter who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts (AVU) in Prague in the 1980s and was a regular participant in the Konfrontace (Confrontations) exhibitions. Throughout his refined painting career, which includes more than fifty solo exhibitions, he works with narrative elements and unmistakable approaches to still lifes and cityscapes. He has also served as an educator and head of a painting studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.
