Vladimír Skrepl (*1955) is one of the most prominent Czech painters of today. His expressive, gestural painting emerges from inner experience, intuitive process, and physical action. His work combines rawness, restlessness, and subtle irony. Since the 1990s until 2023, he worked as a teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where he led the Painting Studio. His works are included in major collections and have been exhibited both in the Czech Republic and internationally.

Vladimír Skrepl (*1955) je jedním z nejvýraznějších českých malířů současnosti. Jeho expresivní a gestická malba vychází z vnitřního prožitku, intuitivního přístupu a fyzického gesta. Ve své tvorbě kombinuje prvky surovosti, neklidu i jemné ironie. Od 90. let působil jako pedagog na Akademii výtvarných umění v Praze, kde vedl Ateliér malby do roku 2023. Jeho díla jsou zastoupena ve významných sbírkách a vystavuje doma i v zahraničí.
